About Diwaan
A diwaan is the book where a business is written down.
For centuries traders kept a register of what came in, what went out and who owed what. The name means that book of accounts. Diwaan is that book, on a phone, for the shop that trades every day.
What we promise
One record, read the same way by everyone.
For the person at the counter
Sell, take payment and write a debt in a few taps, in the shop's own words for its goods.
For the manager
Close the day against what is counted, and see who owes what and for how long.
For the accountant
Every entry comes from a real sale, payment or return. Corrections are reversals with a name and a reason.
Where we are
A first pilot, by invitation.
