How we make Diwaan usable for everyone, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us.

Our aim

Everyone who runs or works in a business should be able to use Diwaan: with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, a small phone or a large text setting. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on this website and in the product.

What we have done

  • Every page on this website is checked with an automated accessibility tool at desktop and phone widths. The latest check found no serious or critical problems.
  • Text meets a contrast of at least 4.5 : 1 against its background, including small grey labels and timestamps.
  • Every control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. A Skip to content link is the first thing on every page.
  • Menus, tabs and question lists follow the standard keyboard patterns: Enter or Space opens, Escape closes, arrow keys move between tabs.
  • Pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen and stay usable at 200% text size without scrolling sideways.
  • Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Wide tables and code samples can be scrolled with the keyboard.
  • Invented examples on this site (sample customers, quotes, figures, prices and dates) are marked Sample, and things shown working that are not built yet are marked Planned, in text, so screen readers announce it too. These marks appear only in preview builds; the site is not published while any remain.

What we know is not yet right

  • Pictures of the product on this website are illustrations. Their text is real text, but some of the decorative parts, such as the sidebar in the product pictures, are hidden from screen readers.
  • We have tested with automated tools and with a keyboard. Testing with screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, TalkBack on Android) is planned before the public launch on 10 November 2026. Coming
  • Printable documents such as receipts and invoices are designed for paper. Their on-screen previews may not have every heading a web page would have.
  • The product itself is being reviewed against the same standard. Findings will be listed here.

Tell us about a problem
